How to Run a Custom Lace Sale for Your Booster Club
A five-step plan for your custom lace sale: pick a kit, take pre-orders, print, finish, and deliver. A 25-roll run can net a booster club about $930.

Custom printed laces sell because they're personal: a player's name, a jersey number, a school slogan in team colors. Here's a simple way to run a lace sale from start to finish.
1. Pick your kit
The 2-printer starter kit ($415) includes 25 rolls of satin ribbon with matching print ribbons, a cordless heat gun, and 100 clear lace tips. That's enough for about 50 pairs of laces. Larger groups can step up to the 4- or 8-printer kits.
2. Take pre-orders
Collect names, numbers, colors, and payment up front. Pre-orders mean you only print what's sold, so there's no leftover inventory.
3. Print in batches
Each N1 printer connects to a phone or tablet over Bluetooth. Two volunteers with two printers can work through a stack of orders in an evening.
4. Finish the ends
Cut laces to length and add tips. Clear heat-shrink tips are the fastest; metal tips give a premium look and sell for more.
5. Deliver at a game or practice
Hand orders out where your supporters already are, and bring a few extra rolls to take on-the-spot orders.
What a 25-roll run can raise: at $25 a pair with metal tips, 50 pairs bring in about $1,250, roughly $930 after rolls and tips.
